The Five Tibetan Rites | SRMD Yoga

The ‘Five Tibetan Rites’ or the Fountain of Youth exercises as they are often referred to, is a yoga sequence considered to be over 2,500 years old. Encompassing a range of health benefits, it helps balance the chakras, reverse the effects of aging and detoxification of impurities within the body. Effectively strengthening and stretching all the main muscles, it realigns the body’s energies, leading to an instant feeling of rejuvenation. Dr. John Mobley is a spiritual seeker who has moved from Atlanta, USA to India to stay in Pujya Gurudevshri’s divine refuge. He is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and a certified Yoga Instructor with the Indian Yoga Association. He completed his Yoga Teachers’ Training course in classical ashtanga at Ayush Yogadarshanam in Mysuru, his Advanced Yoga Teachers’ Training course at Shiva Yoga Peeth in Rishikesh and continues to learn and practice under the guidance of a life-long disciple of Shri B.K.S. Iyengar. John has been taking yoga sessions at Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram, Dharampur and leads numerous workshops in Dharampur and Mumbai.

SRMD Yoga is an initiative envisioned by Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshbhai as a means to augment a seeker's spiritual progress and wellbeing by facilitating physical and mental health. Through asana, pranayama, mudra and other yoga techniques, the programme promotes a holistic way of living by aligning one's mind, body and soul.
